David Benham (Partner)
David trained as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick (now KPMG) gaining comprehensive experience post qualifying in general audit practice. He is responsible for ensuring the firm delivers the highest quality service to all our clients. He provides tailored accounting and taxation advice to a broad range of clients across all business sectors.
He has been financial director of an AIM listed company and overseen the implementation of cost-effective management accounting information systems for a diverse range of owner managed businesses
Kathleen Benham (Partner)
Kathleen trained as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick (now KPMG) and specialises in advising the arts, media and creative industries sectors. Kathleen has worked for many public bodies including the Creative Scotland, Scottish Executive, Scottish Enterprise, NESTA, Glasgow City Council, as well as companies and artists working in theatre, film, TV, music design and the visual arts. Kathleen is also a member of BAFTA.
Kirsty Ritchie (Associate)
Kirsty started her career with Benham Conway in 1999. She gained an AAT qualification in professional accounting in 2004 and is a full member of AAT. She has extensive experience specialising in statutory accounts preparation, corporate and personal tax returns and providing management accounting information tailored to meeting clients’ needs.
Michael Benham (Associate)
Michael completed his CA qualification at Benham Conway in 2015. He then moved to one of Scotland’s largest independent accountancy firms and was a Manager in the Business Advisory department. Michael rejoined Benham Conway in 2023 and specialises in providing accounting, tax and general business advice to all clients across a number of sectors.
